"I have read through the Bible every year since 1987. All this reading in the OT gave me nothing more than a good historical overview, an understanding of the prophetic word about the Messiah, and a little spiritual encouragement here and there. So much was lost due to lack of explanation. I knew before that Jesus fulfilled the Law, but now I can give an answer as to how. The deep wisdom that hides behind the often strange commandments has been so encouraging to receive.
The course has opened my eyes to the Jewish background of the NT and especially explained some of the difficult passages in Romans and Hebrews thanks to a better understanding of the background in the Torah. The historical information about church life before Emperor Constantine has been invaluable. And so much more. The importance of the Feasts and the Tabernacle. How everything points forward to the coming of the Messiah.
I don't think it is right for a Bible course to constitute one's church, but this course has been my most important place for teaching..”
